Cris Byrne BSc (Hons), Cert. Ed

Executive Assistant

Cris, our Executive Assistant, is responsible for making sure our policies and procedures are up to date, along with managing our accounts including ensuring that our team are paid! She supports Roger and David with business decisions and ensures that these are planned and implemented. Cris loves shopping – in fact, she has a specialised wardrobe just for her shoes!

Dan Duff

Sales & Operations Manager

Dan is the Operations Manager for The FoodHouse, where he oversees operational activities at every level of the company – he is involved in hiring, training, and managing the team within the office. He ensures that everything runs smoothly from one day to another and maximizes processes and procedures while ensuring customer expectations are met. He likes to keep himself fit and go to the gym several times a week. He is really passionate about Newcastle United Football Club.

David Duff

Development Director

David is one of our co-founders and is our Development Director. He has been in the industry for more than 21 years building websites, starting at the young age of 14. David is very much a family man, and has 3 children which keep him busy when he isn’t at work. He is a keen follower of football and he has a strong love for Newcastle United. David also has a keen interest in Blockchain Technology, specifically CBDC and what it holds for the future. He loves to travel with his family and hopes one day to move to Australia or New Zealand, once his wife Vikki agrees.

Lord Roger Byrne

Operations Director

Roger is one of our co-founders and is our Sales and Operational Director. He has been in the industry for nearly 20 years building some fantastic relationships with owners – some of whom he can now call friends. In his spare time, he enjoys gaming; his favourite game being Grand Theft Auto. He has recently found a love for travelling and would one day like to travel, in an RV, in America – especially Route 66.

Sophie Jennison BSc(Hons), MA

Tech Team Leader

Sophie is our Team Leader within the Tech Department of The FoodHouse. Graduating with her Masters’ degree in International Relations, Conflict and Security Studies, Sophie joined The FoodHouse in March 2022 as our Customer Service Executive under the Kickstart Programme. Working through the ranks, she quickly took on the extra duties of joining our Tech Team. She became a full-time colleague in August 2022 and was promoted to Team Leader in September 2022. Sophie is also a part of Women’s Street Watch Newcastle on a weekend – when at home, you can find her watching a true crime documentary.
